Color challenge YNS
So it is time to start challenging myself and trying new things. My resolution this year is to start doing some of the challenges from different companies. This will encourage me to try new color combinations and maps. Ha my blog will actually see some action also. Time to dust it off and expand my horizons.
My choice this month was the YNS (Your Next Stamp) color challenge #80.I decided to use a fun stamp set I bought this fall “Waddles-Happy Brrr-thday!” I put a “wobbles” spring under the balloon carrying Waddles so Waddles will Wobble. Bright colors for a festive card using my sisters Zig Real Brush Color Markers on watercolor paper. My Crafting Angel sisters were hanging out together and I borrowed one of my sisters markers to try. She is lucky I didn’t “borrow” them permanently as I fell in love with them heehee. There are some things I would do differently like adding a sprinkling of color throughout the top of the card by flicking a paintbrush. This would help my mistakes look more like part of the design instead of flaws. For the most part I am content with the results as I was using a new medium.
