One more circle die cut frame…..

I forgot to include this in my Father’s Day post, but here is one more card I made from the same circle background. I actually made this as a variation on the Father’s Day cards, as I wanted to make one a little non-traditional for an important father figure in my life.

So for this card, I used a circle background (Elizabeth Craft Designs circle background) cut from Gina K Designs Kraft card stock. I had so many white circles left from the white background frames I had cut out (Neenah Classic Crest Solar White) and used that I just decided to fill the Kraft with white.

I used an A2 sized piece of Gina K Designs Asparagus card stock and added a layer of double sided adhesive. I first attached the Kraft background, then filled the circles in with the leftover white pieces. Because I used the asparagus as a background frame, I wanted to tie that color in. I stamped the word “love” (from the Neat and Tangled stamp set “Love Notes”) in Gina K Designs asparagus ink on white card stock. I then used the words “sending” (from the same Neat and Tangled set) using Gina K Designs amalgam black ink on asparagus card stock, cutting this into a strip.

I was not super excited about this placement of the sentiment, so I played around with different arrangements of my sentiment. I finally decided to use the “sending” strip to anchor the larger “love” sentiment towards the top of the card. I finished the card with a simple Happy Father’s Day stamp inside.

I actually really like how this card came out in end. It would be easy to make a few of these with various sentiments.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and as always, that it has inspired you to go create something! Have a great day!
