My Attempt at Fawnatics Challenge 45 “Lots of Love”
Thank you for stopping by today. Today I decided to pull out my Lawn Fawn products and try an unusual valentines card. Their theme was Lots of love. I love my Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends stamp set. I haven’t had a good reason to use it lately and decided this was perfect.
I wanted rolling hills so I die cut a few hills from green cardstock using a stitched die that would complement the lighthearted fairy I was using.
I stamped a bunch of the flowers and colored them simply with my Arteza brush pens. Then it was time to fussy cut them because I never got around to buying the matching dies. ( I really wish I had the matching dies as this step took the longest.)
My fairy and lantern were stamped on the card base.
Then I used masking fluid to mask my fairy and lantern. Please make sure if using masking fluid you let it dry completely. I usually work on something else while this dries. My first attempt used a paper mask because I forgot I had masking fluid but my first attempt ended up in the garbage because I did not trim the mask correctly. Once I was done with the background I erased my masking.
I colored my fairy and lantern with Arteza brush markers. My fussy cut flowers were tucked into the hills and a quick sentiment was added at the bottom conveying my valentines wishes. Thank you so much for stopping by. Let me know what Lawn Fawn stamp set is your favorite.
