Quick and easy wedding card

I recently purchased the Altenew layered floral cover die set, and I have big plans for it. I suspect I will be using it a lot! However, I used it very simply today as I needed a card for a wedding tomorrow. The colors for the wedding are blush, ivory and blue, which dictated my color choices. I wanted some shimmer and depth, so I went to my stash and found a shimmery ivory light weight card stock (from Michaels craft stores I believe), a shimmery blush card stock (Joann’s stores I am fairly sure), and a shimmery navy card stock in my scraps bin. I cut layer A from the blush, layer B from the ivory and adhered those to the navy, then mounted that on a card base. I heat embossed the word love (Neat and Tangled Love Notes) on a strip of vellum. Inside, I used a second floral layer a die cut to lightly stencil the bottom in Antigua linen distress ink, then stamped the sentiment using Altenew jet black ink and sentiments from the Mega Succulent stamp set. Using the vellum sentiment strip, I created a quick belly band and I was done!

Thanks for stopping by, and as always, I hope this inspires you to go and out and create something!
