Coloring and Mama Elephant
In my stash, I own Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Prismacolor Premier Pencils….neither of which I have used extensively. I recently decided it was time to work with those a little more, given that it is summer and I, as a music teacher, have a little more time than usual. I also had recently purchased a few Mama Elephant stamp and die sets, which I thought would be perfect for coloring practice. (Next up for coloring: some Altenew Stamps and then in the near future, some Lawn Fawn stamps!)
I am going to attach several pictures of finished cards, and if you have any questions about colors, inks, or the process used, please feel free to ask. In the meantime, this is a great chance for me to reflect back on the last few weeks and see what I accomplished in the world of handmade cards. This has inspired me to keep working with my colored pencils and my Zig markers, hoping to become more comfortable with these mediums, and to become more proficient along the way.
As always, thank you for reading, and I hope this inspires you to go out and create something!
