Magical Birthdays
In my happy mail recently I received some new Mama Elephant stamps that I was excited to play with. I like to mix and match my stamps so I decided that my fairies would be hanging out with my dragon for a birthday celebration.
I started by stamping my dragon in the center and decided I wanted to channel Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. One of my favorite parts of “Sleeping Beauty” was how they glowed as they floated through the movie. I decided my fairies would be different colors and have a bit of a glow so after stamping and heat embossing all my images I used my Arteza Brush pens to color the fairies and the dragon.
After coloring my fairies and dragon it was time for the background. All dragons love mountains so I painted majestic purple mountains in. I added some color around the fairies similar to my favorite characters. A little bit of blue in the sky to finish the background. The birthday dragon needed a cake and in this case he is lighting his own cake. LOL. A sentiment popped up for dimension and all on a red card base. Thanks for stopping by.
