More kaleidoscope stencil cards….
So in my last post, I featured three cards using the kaleidoscope stencil set (layer A only) from Altenew. I actually made five, and will describe the other two today.
These are just like my teen card from my previous post, but much softer colors. I used the same squeezed lemonade and twisted citron inks blended for the background, then laid the stencil over the background. I blended peacock feathers and abandoned coral over the background. The peacock feathers created a soft green and bright yellow card. I finished that the same way as the previous post, with black gloss card stock under the die cut “you”, and the word “rock” in black ink on white card stock, backed with more glossy black paper.
The abandoned coral ink over the yellow/green background made a softer peach color. So pretty! I created my own glitter paper using Neenah solar white classic crest card stock, double sided tape, and Elizabeth craft designs cool diamond micro fine glitter. That is what I backed the negative space with. And added a thin strip of glitter paper on the top. This one, I stamped the “rock” in versa mark ink on onyx card stock, and embossed with vanilla ice glitter embossing powder. Then I layered that on white card stock and adhered. I embellished with plenty of sequins and I was done!
As always, thank you for reading my blog today, and I hope this inspires you to go out and create something!
